Grilled Guacamole Recipe

Grilled Guacmole? Ummmm. Heck yes!! I made this recently for Tasty Kitchen and it was gooooood. Yous demand to make it. Immediately. Information technology'south life changing. Then throw some rice chips with it and call it a repast…

And… wanna hear something really exciting. Nosotros're totally having a guacamole bar at our wedding this summertime. Yup. Information technology's happening. A late night guacamole bar with freshly fried chips. Perfect for the late night snackers and people who are going to dance the nighttime away. I mean, nosotros've gotta keep out energy up for the giant dance political party. A guacamole bar is certainly the about perfect style to do that.

Okay….here'south the step past step for Grilled Guacamole:

You need to prepare either your indoor or outdoor grill. Seeing as how it'south winter in Los Angeles and I freeze outside when it'due south anything less than 50 degrees, I opted for my indoor grill. Place the avocados on the grill and let them become some black marks on the lesser.

Once the avocados have some grill marks, throw a few slices of red onion on the grill to char.

Side by side upwardly, let's grill some lycopersicon esculentum quarters!

Once we've got everything grilled and set up aside, place the avocado into a bowl and give it a quick mash.

Next, grate some garlic over the avocado.

Be sure to become all that fabulous garlic from the bottom side of your grater.

Next, juice a lime or ii over the avocado.

Add the chopped red onion.

And so the tomatoes!

Throw in some chopped cilantro. Feel free to toss in some chopped chives if y'all want, likewise! They're the best!

Flavor the guac with some salt and a few turns of freshly cracked black pepper.

And serve it up with some of your favorite fries!!
